The Opposite of Great - Fascinatingly Depressing

Let me just say again that this is a last resort type of club, i.e lost a bet and you have little to no money left and you want to see naked women (any type of naked woman), you come here. Work at CVS or Walgreens and you make minimum wage, and everything else is way too expensive, this is the place to go. Or maybe you just like low hanging fruit and want to put in minimal effort to entice a naked woman to talk to you, then look no further than this place. It’s like the Hometown Buffet of strip clubs, cheap, low grade, and undeniably bad but still does the trick.

For me, lost a poker tournament and did the drive of shame to this place as I wanted to dissolve my last few hundred bucks and drown my sorrows away at a nudie bar. Typically, and I say this without ego, this place is far beneath my pay grade as you get what you pay for. Never had a particularly bad experience here, but I feel this place caters to a specific demographic and I definitely don’t fit into that demographic. Came in on a Saturday evening around 9:30 pm expecting at least a semi crowded club and was surprised to only see 4 cars in the parking lot. Begrudgingly walked in and was met by the door guy who looked Mundo from American Me. He asked for a 20 and without even wanding me down, let me in through the turnstile. Oddly enough, he wanted down the next few patrons that came in after me. Strange.

There were maybe 4-6 guys in the place total and perhaps 13 “dancers”. The club is reminiscent of the Titty Twister in that movie From Dusk till Dawn - except there’s no hot Salma Hayek dancing on any stages. I wouldn’t say it’s a particularly bad crowd, but definitely not a West Los Angeles type of crowd. You’ll definitely see guys in football jerseys, baseball caps and trucker tank tops throwing 3-5 dollars on stage at each dancer. The good thing is, they’re not going to need a broom or a bucket to sweep the money off the stage. Depressing to say the least.
