Ladies' night at Palazio

My husband and I visited on a Thursday night around 11 pm. Cover was $20 for my husband. Thursday night is Ladies' night so no cover for me. We tipped the door girl $5. We were quickly seated at a table near the main stage. There are 3 stages and the ladies move from one to the next, doing 2 song sets. There is a very large video screen behind the stage but it played mostly just shadow images of ladies dancing so we did not really find it distracting. Austin is smoke-free in all public buildings which we very much appreciate. There were a few women in the place obviously having a good time along with a few more male patrons.

There was a 2 drink minimum per person. My husband ordered water at $3 per bottle. I had champagne at about $15 per glass, and it wasn't bad. Bar tab came to $51 including tip which was very reasonable. Servers were friendly and attentive.

I really enjoyed the stage performances. The ladies had well rehearsed routines and they engaged in eye contact and flirting with the crowd as they danced. Most used the pole some but did a lot of floor work. There were a couple spinner types - very thin and athletic. The rest might have been burlesque style performers, voluptuous and feminine. I was pretty smitten with several of them and overall the quality was very good.
