The Definitive "Hustle Hut".
Drove from a KC suburb to downtown on Saturday evening, bored as hell and ready for some fun. Parked in Bazooka's private lot and paid my door fee. The club is really nice. Good sound and layout, and the couch dance area is private enough that you don't feel you're on display when you get a dance. So, that said, here's why Bazooka's could never be my go-to club:
#1: It's a hustle hut for tourists and travelers. The girls are told that they must hit a certain money threshold every shift or potentially lose their job. As such, they push...and I mean push...hard for you to get dances or preferably into the $200 per 30 minute VIP. They promise all sorts of "additional benefits" by doing so, but a buddy who tried it said the dancer only took off her top as a "bonus".
#2: There is no opportunity to relax and scope-out the dancer selection before getting approached. No bar, no pool tables, nothing but tables and chairs in which you will be immediately descended upon by pushy dancers. In fact, the dancers don't even politely ask you if they might sit with you before plopping down and ordering a drink. As for me, I don't like to rude and tell a dancer that I'm not interested while she's sitting there. I'd much rather approach a dancer and express my interest in passing or while she's dancing her set.
