This place has a legendary reputation in the annals of rap and hip hop history, and should probably should be a national historic site. So I went. It was totally dead. Maybe three dancers, hardly any customers. The music was the same as what's on the radio. Nothing about it that would evoke a sense of history or indicate its greatness. The dancers were okay, not memorable. I didn't stay long.
