Changes, Changes, Changes - but not sure if for the better

Some changes here and not for the better. Thursday afternoon at about 4:30PM. First off, as I walk in there is a bouncer wanding people down. Look, if a place has the type of crowd where you need a metal detector, than I'm all for it. But, in my years of checking this club, this was never a thing at least in the day time. I don't know if they feel the crowd has changed or something happened where they made this a mandatory thing but its new. If this place always had it, I would not think anything of it, but seeing it introduced is a little disconcerting. Anyhoo. 16oz beer was 4.50, although they no longer hand back change with the 2 quarters. A little extra for the bar tender I suppose. At 4:30 I was able to get a seat reasonably easy. My last time here that was an issue, but was not a problem today, and I'm wondering if that is because the place is losing its customer crowd.

Dancers were the normal cheetah hallendale fare. A little plastic, but not overly so, average of 7 for the girls, but more so just that than I knew before. That was always the general type of the girls but there would always be a couple of smokeshows who stood out. Didn't see any of them on this visit. Dancers approach which is nice, but not overly aggressive. All seem to be Latina. While it was always a majority Latin club there were always a handful of AA's & whitegirls. I didn't see any of that on this visit. While I am known more as an ass man, today I was in a mood for big fake boobs. I settled on a couple to choose from and tipped a really pretty brown skinned, what I thought was a Colombian or Venezuelan on stage. get her back to the dance room and she is kind of a fun girl and we vibed a little bit. I get the usual where are you from question, and she has no clue. I ask her where she is from, and I am shocked when she says Cuban. I respond incredulously, that she does not have a Cuban face and she responded that she has heard that a lot. Apparently one of her grandparents was Jamaican so it may explain a very different look to her, at least for a Cubana. Also much nicer/friendly than your average Cuban dancer, but Jamaicans ain't the most friendly people either, so maybe we just shouldn't stereotype. Dances were fine. a little bit of OTP stick shifting but not much else. Good dances, but definitely not the more risque fare which has made Cheetah Hallendale on of the best spot for straight lap dances. I get two dances, pay 60 with tip, and she seemed appreciative.

As I walk out I see a more stereotypical looking & acting Cubana dancer, who has the boobs I'm looking for as well as being a bit more assey (is that a word). Dances about the same with her, but she first tried to sell me on a VIP room and then on the new more private lap dance area. Much more selling services, than one would usually here at Cheetah Hallendale, and it seemed more like a dance you would get at Tootsies. When there are other things on the table, I think lap dance quality & effort tends to go down, and I wonder if that is what is happening here. Got two dances from her, and didn't see anything else that I HAD to have, so decided to walk out while I still had some money in my pocket to save for another day & another club.
