Interesting place

Visited coliseum a few Wednesday nights ago. Arrived around 8:30. Very unusual set up with cars parked in the front but still valet service. A friend and I ubered so we didn’t use valet. Drop off is right at the entrance. Unsure of cover, my buddy picked it up, I was too busy looking around the lobby. Not sure why but I left the door girl a $5 tip, habit maybe, those jars are for the guys who get their cover waived as an alternate form of cover.

Upon going thru the curtain and entering the place…. It is huge. I mean very big. Way too big. When we arrived there was 4 guys seated next to each other at the bar. A fifth customer standing behind them against the wall next to the waitress station. And 2 guys sitting in a booth. As large as the place is, it made it very surreal to me with only a few people there. And this coming from a guy who hates small bars. As for the outlay, when you enter, the stage runs almost the distance up the center of the club. It seems like the length of a football field. Tables on either side, 2 rows of booths on both sides, first row ground floor, 2nd row elevated. Main bar to the left, second bar in the back right. DJ booth, vip, and bathroom are in the back. Oh, no piss boy in the bathroom.

So we proceed to sit in the middle section of the bar. The bartender, name started with a J can’t remember, came right over to get our drink order. Pretty hot. Was informed no talls are available. Looked to my left and saw 2 of the 4 guys drinking talls, guess they are regulars and were buying her drinks.. whatever. $15 vodka and soda and $15 rum and coke in small rocks glasses. Our only refill was hard to obtain as the bartender was preoccupied getting hit on by, and drinking with the other 4 guys and the wall hugger near the bar. After sitting on empty for around 10 minutes, we had to grab the manager, Eric I believe, as he walked by and he got us refills and bought us each a shot, and apologized for her being busy. Apparently he said something to the bartender as she stopped by about every 3-5 minutes there after literally snarling “you good?”
