This Emperor has too many clothes

The published reviews of Emperors have been pretty mixed, so I was curious. I was passing through the area so I made my first ever visit to this club. I arrived around 2PM on a hot, sunny Saturday. Parking is plentiful and safe. When I entered the club, I had to stand for a minute or two while my eyes adapted to the dark interior. The club is relatively large with lots of tables scattered around a large central stage. The bar to the left was open and I sat at the bar for a while. Domestic beer was reasonably priced for a strip club.

For the first 30 minutes, no dancer was called to the stage. I did strike up a conversation with Luna, a short but attractive woman from Puerto Rico. We eventually agreed to a lap dance. The lap dance area is located behind the bar and consists of a series for cubicles with a bench seat. The area is dimly lit and relatively private if it is not busy and if your dancer selects a more remote cubicle. The dance with luna was pretty decent, featuring some limited touching and a few nude flashes (which were difficult to see because of the poor lighting). Luna charged me $60 for two dances.

I returned to the main club and tipped the dancer on stage, a slightly older blond with an athletic body. She was skilled on the pole but, as others have mentioned, the stage performers do not go topless at this club. Her name was Seraph, or something like that. After some nice conversation about her history in the Jacksonville strip club scene, we agreed to a private dance. The first dance was underwhelming. Unlike the first dancer, she did not remove her top during the first dance. I suggested that she might get more comfortable and she told me that she didn't remove her top until the second song. Disappointed, I ended our session after the first song. She charged me $40 for a single song. When I mentioned that the first dancer had charged me $30 per song, she shrugged her shoulders and said you got a deal.
