Good night at Bourbon, Yvette was the Highlight

The parking lot is well-lit, with spaces readily available right in view of the door. While I saw no security in the lot, I’m guessing the bouncer can see out into the lot. And it didn’t feel unsafe.

The cover for a Monday evening was $8, which isn’t bad. You get a ticket from the girl which you then give to the bouncer, which seems unnecessary as the bouncer is right there. But okay.

I’ve always found Bourbon to have a comfortable feel and to be clean. The chairs are more comfortable than at most clubs. The lighting is just about right, so that you don’t feel like the lights are shining on you, but plenty to be able to see (including being able to see the denomination of a bill from my wallet). Buying a drink is expected, but the waitress wasn’t pushing refills.
