so so as a first timer in Charleston

Had never clubbed in Charleston before. Was there for work so checked out Secrets and Cheetah which is right across the street. Ubered to the area from my hotel. Paid $10 cover to get in. Sticky wrist band on my arm which naturally ripped off half my arm hair when removed later that night.

Nothing spectacular about the club set up. Main bar when you first walk in and then main stage in sunken in a few steps below along with many tables. Pretty decent set up actually. Men's room off to the right upon entry. Domestic beers around $6.

When I first entered an unattractive very drunk dancer latched on to me. I was buzzed myself following a dinner with plenty of drinks but I was thinking to myself this girl is really wasted. After a few minutes she loudly announced - I get it, I'm not your type, I'll move on. Thank God. Guessing she went to sleep it off somewhere. Uninspired I went across the street to Cheetah's - paid $10 cover, grabbed a beer. Less than 10 girls working. Not many attractive. The most attractive one was partying with some people at the bar. After 20 minutes I bailed and returned to Secrets.
