Sunday @ mint

I visited Mint lounge on Sunday at around 4:30 pm. I took a Uber from my hotel so not sure if they charge to park. As I was getting out of my uber I noticed a few dancers arriving to work a couple had really nice bodies and looked good in their street clothes. The security guard outside of the club patted me down before letting me in (no cover charge at the time I arrived). Once inside I noticed how tiny the place was. There was a rectangular shaped bar with high chairs surrounding it and a small section to the right of the entrance that appeared to be reserved. I got a seat at the bar (which surrounds a stage with two poles) and watched the stage set for a bit before the bartender came over to see what I was drinking. I ordered a Hennessy ($10) and watched a few girls go through their stage set which lasts 3 or 4 songs. Most of the girls get completely naked by the end of the second song. Not a whole lot of tipping action from the customers sitting at the bar initially.

Early on the place had the feel of a neighbor bar with older customers sitting at the bar hanging out with the dancers or having conversations with each other. There were maybe 10 or so dancers out on the floor initially. I wasn’t approached by a dancer in the first half hour or so I was there. Eventually, one of the pretty short and thick redbone dancers who I had seen walking in when I arrived had changed into her dancing outfit and came out to the floor. I made eye contact with her standing on the opposite side of the bar and she came over and introduced herself. She told me that she normally dances at the office, but decided to dance at mint today. I got 10 dances from her at $10 apiece. I enjoyed her soft curves and she put on a nice show.

More dancers arrived and the atmosphere changed a bit as the as it got later in the evening. By the time things were in full swing there were between 20-25 dancers of all shapes and sizes (a few spinners and a couple of thick brickhouses) out on the floor. Some looked to be young (early 20’s), a couple vets who were probably 40+ and the rest in between (late 20’s to early 30’s). As it got later in the evening, the crowd changed to younger customers and the atmosphere became livelier with some guys making it rain on certain girls during their stage set.
