Does It Pick Up?

Made my second visit to Club Vogue on a Saturday evening. The first time I went, it was a Friday, it was spring break, and the place had maybe 5-7 customers (same number of dancers too), but one of the dancers assured me this was an off night and it is usually lively/full on Friday/Saturday nights post midnight. So I decided to save my review for my second visit.

The place is off of a busy street in Columbia away from downtown. The club can be seen off of the street, but parking/the entrance is on a side street. Parking is spacious in a well-lit lot. The club does not serve any alcohol but there were two bars on this side street. The bartender in the club serving water/caffeine said the bouncer will let you go back and forth. In the club there are two stages. There is a small hexagon-shaped stage towards the back which I've never seen used. The long rectangular stage (with two poles) is where all the action was. There are dozens of seats at this stage. Beyond that, there are plenty of other seats with tables spread around the club. A juice bar with additional seating is to the left of the club. Lap dances take place in an upper-level with the option for topless couch dances (no touching) or bed dances (touching).

I got there a little after 11 PM and it looked very similar to the last visit. Maybe 10-15 customers, most were sitting towards the back. Occasionally, someone would sit at the stage. When it got past midnight, a few more trailed in, but it still felt empty. There were only 6 dancers this night. Average looks, none of them stood out. In fact, I recognized half of them from my last visit months prior. Occasionally, there were long pauses between dancers and I found myself watching the movie playing on TBS in the corner more than I should have. The ladies danced topless, but nothing else was shown. Every lady interacted with the customers that were at the stage with a little back-n-forth touching. It was underwhelming.
