Monday Night Strikeout

I was in Louisville for work and took a quick uber over to Foxy Lady from my downtown hotel. Clearly not the best area of town, but whatever. I arrived at about 8pm. No one was manning the door so I walked right in a grabbed a seat at the bar. Sort of a neighborhood dive bar feel. Bar is on the back wall, one stage on the left hand wall, tables a chairs spread out around the club.

I ordered a Miller Lite, I think it was $6 with tip. As I was ordering, two girls from the dayshift were cashing out with the bartender. Neither one was a looker, so no great loss. As I settled in, it quickly became apparent that only two girls were working. While both were in the 6-7 range, both were locked up with regulars.

After about 20 minutes the DJ, called one of the girls to the stage. She did 2 songs, and didn't remove any clothing. I sat stage side and tipped liberally hoping she would stop by after the set. But nope, right back to the regular. Second girl immediately came on stage, same deal, I tipped, she went right back to her regular.
