Boring night, low energy club

I was staying close by and decided to check out the club on a Friday evening after going out with some friends. I don't know parking fees, the streets looked pretty dead and appeared to have plenty of open spots. The location was downtown by the riverfront, nothing sketchy and never felt unsafe.

There were three bouncers outside the door, paid a $20 cover after a quick pat. The club was like a massive hallway. There was a large bar on the right hand side with couch/lounge seating on the left. There were a couple sets of small stairs leading behind the couches, where I assumed the dance & vip areas were. The club had three small, circular stages going up the middle of the club. One by the entrance, one in the center, and one all the way down by the restrooms (at the end of the club). There were maybe 20+ girls working that night. Mostly white & AA with a couple latinas. Each stage had a dancer, about a half-dozen were walking around, another half-dozen hanging out at the bar. None of them looked like they were having a good time. The girls were mostly 6-7, not much above that. There was a very flat energy in the place. The place was busy, most of the bar seats were taken and there were guys tipping at each of the stages. Pretty standard crowd for a Friday night and didn't appear to be rowdy at all.

I found a seat at the bar, grabbed a beer ($7) and wasn't approached for a good 30 minutes. Didn't seem like the dancers had much interest in selling dances. I moved to one of the stages and decided to tip. Again, very little enthusiasm from the dancers.
