High expectations that were not met

This review is about a visit I had a month or two ago.

I came into Fantasy Girls on a weeknight around 11pm. An attractive (albeit unfriendly) door girl greeted me and told me the cover was $20. I was pat down by a security guard and had to walk through a metal detector before entering the main part of the club.

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that this place was very dark. I thought the Wild Orchid was dark but Fantasy Girls definitely had them beat by a long shot. There were two stages in the middle of the room but none of them were in use at the time. Plenty of seating. Bar was against the side wall. Didn’t use the restroom so I’m not sure where they are or the condition of them. Fairly small club compared to the Wild Orchid (that’s the only other Reno club I’d been to at this point).
