Not Couple Friendly At ALL

My wife and I were in New Orleans on vacation and took the opportunity to visit another strip club. We are still new to this, and this would be our second strip club visit. We were a bit disappointed that none of the clubs around were full nude, but still wanted to play. We had read that the clubs in the French Quarter were on the tourist trap side of business and had heard that Visions was a good club that the locals go to. I looked up their website for the address and cover info. The website stated that Sunday through Thursday nights: $5 general admission, $10 VIP admission (VIP admission includes use of lounge area). Seemed like an excellent deal considering the cover charges we saw in Las Vegas.

The club was not in a good part of town, but the parking lot was well lit. The parking lot was unpaved with no clear indication of how to park other than the way the existing cars were already parked. Going into the club we were stopped by a bouncer/doorman in a small entry room to collect the cover. He looked at us and said $10. I gave him $10 expecting that to cover both my wife and me since the website stated $5 cover for the night we went. He then said it was $10 each. I remembered the website mentioned VIP admission was $10, so I asked if we were getting VIP admission since he was charging us more. He looked at me like I was stupid and asked if I had a VIP membership card. I said no and he repeated that the cover was $10 each. The guy seemed like an asshole, so I didn't feel like arguing over $10. The doubling of the cover was annoying, but still much cheaper than we paid in Vegas.

We paid the $20 and he opened the door to the club. The bar was immediately to the right and was a long horseshoe shape with the main stage on the other side. There was another similarly shaped bar on the other side of the room but was not being used. We went around to the bar looking for a good place to sit. We don't drink alcohol, so sitting at the bar is not where we usually want to sit, but there was no other seating. We sat at the bar and ordered diet cokes. I left my card with the bartender to open a tab so we could buy drinks for any of the dancers we wanted to sit and talk to.
