Let Me Show You Something

Midway Invader was the last stop on my mimi-tour of clubs in Mississauga near the Toronto airport. Even thought it was getting to be late evening on a Friday, there was no cover charge. Inside, it looks similar to New Locomotion—a big open room, a large stage against the wall opposite the entry, bar on an elevated platform just to the right of the entrance, lap dance area to the right of the bar.

As seems to be the custom in Canadian strip clubs, the bar is for waitress service only. I sat at table but was ignored by the waitresses for about 10 minutes, so I went to the bar. The bartender called over a waitress. I gave my order to the waitress. She gave the order to the bartender. The bartender gave her my beer. She gave it to me, and I paid her about $10 CAD, plus tip.

There were a good number of dancers working, probably around three dozen. The demographics were about the same as the other clubs, mostly white, a few blacks, a sprinkling of Asians, just not as good looking in general. In descending order, the dancer quality at these three clubs near the airport was Café Atlantis (7-up), New Locomotion (5-7), here (4-7). But don’t get me wrong, both New Locomotion and Midway Invader each had some real hotties working the floor.
