In praise of Black women

First, a general description of the club, paraphrased from my earlier review:

Angels is located east of Kalamazoo on M 96 (Kings Highway) in a wooded area surrounded by the flood plains from the Kalamazoo River. The geographic location is relevant only in pointing out that there are no other buildings close to the club, mostly wet lands. The club has a large paved parking lot that is well lit and monitored by cameras. Even though it is isolated, the area and the club feel quite safe.

The club looks impressive from the outside but on the inside it is a relatively small rectangle with a ceiling height that does not allow a very tall stripper pole to be installed. Tables and booths surround the stage and there is a well stocked bar on the back wall of the club. The club is clean and generally well maintained. The bathroom is dark but generally well maintained. A variety of music is played with rock being the most common genre. The music volume is not so loud as to preclude a conversation. The DJ announces the dancer names when they are on stage but only rarely in a manner that is easily understood; I prefer the clubs that also have a monitor that lists the dancer names as they perform.
