DC club, like the DC government, expensive and unfulfilling

I visited Cloakroom for the first time recently. I hate going into DC, and know that the clubs are pretty bad, but took one for the team. The neighborhood is fairly busy and safe even late at night. I saw multiple police cars and security guards outside. Parking nearby was $20.

It's a little hard to find with a nondescript door. The doorman checked my id, told me to go inside and up one flight of stairs (there is also an elevator). $20 cover. Club is on the small side with a central bar attached to a stage with two poles. Mostly white professional crowd with a few blacks and women. A fair amount of tipping at the stage.

The dancers get full nude and alcohol is served. An unusual combo. $20 drinks, $7 cokes. Hip-hop music.
