Rumors mid week

I was just passing through Columbia and decided to give Rumors a try. I haven't been there for quite some time. As I walked in there was a 5 dollar cover charge and an ID check. This club is fairly small with 2 stages. I have only ever seen one stage be used at a time. Generally clean and plain club. Outside there is a little bar that is open at nights. I grabbed a reasonably priced Corona. I believe it was around $3.50 (maybe even just 3). Then I went back into the club.

I believe there were about 6 other patrons there. That night, there were 6 or 7 dancers doing a 2 song rotation on the main stage. Basically you can tip 5 bucks at the stage for a short groping session. I believe the girls in general were decent looking with most in the 5-7 range. This was after the university was out of session so that could have played a role in the quality of girls. Wednesday and Thursday they usually have specials. 2 for 1 dances until 10 pm I believe. Dances are usually 30 for a couch dance and 60 for a bed dance (slight bulk discount). I have never been impressed with the quality of dances at either of the Columbia clubs, and this was no different. Pretty plain dances on an uncomfortable bench, but with the 2 for 1 I would say it is a decent value. No mileage at this club from what I gather.

Overall, this is a decent time. Pretty mediocre, which has been my experience with all Missouri clubs. The best part being the cheap drinks at the attached bar.
