Taboo is a weird club. It wants to be upscale but falls short. The clientele is so mixed, it will confuse as times as well.
If you’re looking for more of a nightclub vibe with loud music and lights, this is definitely your style though. If you’re looking for a “chill” spot you probably shouldn’t waste your time.
The girls quality is hit or miss. A good mix of styles and types but the quality ranges from average to above average.
The bartenders will either be really helpful or pay you no mind. The drinks aren’t great and the shot prices are like you’re at a high end restaurant.
This is the type of club you can have a really great night at or be totally disappointed. This is also the type of club where after work you’ll see those weird guys in suits buying a bottle of wine. If that’s you, my apologies.
Give it a try but there are better options in NNJ.
