SS, Same as it ever was.
I met a buddy in Lake Geneva for a bite to eat and some drinks at Owl Tavern. I will make a point of saying that the Smoked Beef Brisket Mac-N-Cheese was excellent. We had a couple drinks there and since the scene was not too exciting, we decided to head to Sugar Shack. I would have preferred to head to Delavan/Darien, but this was closer and we already had a couple drinks and the police around Darien/Delavan are more aggressive about people leaving those clubs.
It was between 7:30 and 8 when we got to SS, so they had only been open less then an hour. My whiskeys were about $10, my buddy was drinking beer, but I don't know the exact cost as the bartender would just take money out of the money he had on the bar. Only a couple other patrons when we arrived. One was an older gentleman who kept one dancer occupied the whole time we were there on the raised area to the Left of the bar (right of the stage). There were about 8 dancers that I saw when we were there. One thing I dislike about the setup here is that the bar is so far back behind the stage area. I like to sit at the bar and walk up to tip the dancers and then sit back down. This set up makes that inconvenient. When you did tip on stage, there wasn't much acknowledgement.
The dancers made their rounds on stage and then either went back to the dressing room or walked passed the bar and tables to get some tips and/or try and get a private dance. When they came up to you, for the most part, there wasn't much conversation. "Hey, what's your name, where are you from, Looking for a dance tonight? The girls were all decent looking, but there was a lack of energy that would make me think a dance would be a invigorating experience. My buddy got two dances with a nice looking enhanced blonde. He said the dances were mostly air, with minimal contact on her part and were topless only.
