DDTR - the rumors of its demise may not be true.

DDTR used to be the area go-to prior to Covid. Post-Covid the rumor mill indicated that the place was run down, inhabited by bikers, that the manager and his buddies used it as a hang out, and that the quality of the girls was at best “meh.” I haven’t been there in about two years and found myself with time to kill and money in my pocket the other day and decided to check it out for myself.

The place is just as physically run down as it’s always been. The parking lot is out back and at least the entrance is back there as well, so no one on the busy street can see your walk of shame. The area itself is safe, and there is a Wawa nearby if you need to get cash before going in - always a good idea.

The door charge has gone up - it’s $25 now, up from the $15 it used to be, and includes the usual bottle of water. Unlike The Pink Palace, they don’t refill and recycle the bottles, mine was still sealed. No alcohol is served. There were five or six other PLs when I was there.
