Margaritas is still afloat, but barely.

This is the third time I’ve been in Margaritas and there are rarely any other customers. One bar to the left as you walk in, six to eight girls of varying shape and size lounging around, and 3-5 very persistent waiters trying to get you to sit with one of the girls and buy her ladies drinks, always with the reminder that anything goes in private. No cover to get in, a seven ounce Mexican beer is $3 for you or $7 for a lady. There is one plywood booth behind the bar for $15 a song, but previous experience demonstrated that it is for dancing only, although touching is actively encouraged. Next to the two bathrooms at the rear of the place is a private room which used to be $120 an hour but is now $130; no partial hours available. Presumably the girls herself s included in that price.

I chatted up Michelle, a six who said she was 22 but looked more like 32. Sat at a table with her and bought her a drink. We talked about five minutes about options and she gulped her drink down. As she’s taking her last sip, our hovering waiter immediately asks me if I want to buy her another. When I said, not right now, she stood up, said goodbye and walked away.

Just before I finished my own beer and prepared to leave, I saw a very pretty young thing in a yellow bikini walk out of the private room to the ladies toilet, followed by a customer she had apparently just finished up with. She was a knock out from across the room, but as I approach, I see she has extensive ink on her torso, including her belly. What a waste of beautiful skin. Said her name was Amy and she was 20, and looked twenty at the most. I didn’t stay. I don’t like heavily tattooed girls, and also don’t want a girl who has just finished with someone else.
