Wasted Wednesday Visit

The last time I stopped here, getting close to 10 years ago, it was still called Stars. It was a less than memorable experience so I never returned. Over the years friends said it hadn't gotten any better despite the ownership change. I recently was in the area for a meeting that ended early so I figured I'd give it a shot. I arrived a little after 4:30 with low expectations and soon discovered even those expectations would not be met.

They don't charge a cover during the day, not sure what it is at night. Nothing seemed to have changed on the interior, big stage with lots of moving lights. Good sized bar area that is quite dark and will take a bit for your eyes to adjust. Bartender was wearing lingerie but wasn't anything to get excited about looks-wise or personality-wise. Two other customers at the bar and one dancer standing there too. She went in the back when the customer she was talking to left. After 15 minutes she came back and started talking to me and confirmed what I was suspecting - she was the only dancer working. She never did introduce herself but we talked for a bit. She said normally there are 5 or 6 girls working during the day and 12-15 at night during the week, with more working on Friday and Saturday nights. She had a decent body and an OK face so I thought I'd take her for a spin. When I asked about dances she gave me the rundown. Lap dances are $25/song and are strictly no touching. Longer dances are offered in private rooms, which I didn't see from the bar area so I don't know how private they are, she said they have a curtain on the doorway. I think 15 minutes were $155, 30 minutes runs $285, and an hour is five-something. She said the level of allowed contact increases as you buy longer dances. None of those options appealed to me in the least so I finished my drink and left. Don't see any reason to return anytime soon.
