Weekday Visits Can Be Pretty Good Too

Pleasant Moments is located at the end of a pretty narrow street, a couple of miles from Route 1. Probably not the best section of Bridgeport, but I alwaysvisit during the day, and hav never had any problems. There is usually a guy watching the cars (though I'm not sure if he is paid by Pleasant's, or just an independent contractor with ambition); if he is there, I tip him $5 just before I go in. Building is surrounded by many cameras, and you can get a glimpse of them behind the bar, so you can keep an eye on your car. There is plenty of on street parking, though you may need to get creative if you go during the busy times.

The club itself is rather large, and located on two levels. The lower level has a large rectangular bar, which can hold 20-25 people, and there are some other chairs up against the wall. You can get a good view of the stage from the lower level, though the girls don't really dance, as much as walk around. Its pretty rare that they take anything off while dancing, though they used to. If you want to sit at the stage, you can go up to the upper level, tip, and talk to a girl while she is dancing. The upper level has some table seating and a few pool tables. Lap dance rooms are in the far back of the upper level. I think that there are 4, but not sure. A lot of the girls speak spanish exclusively, and so communication can be an issue. All girls understand enough English to ask about getting a private dance, and to let you know the costs. Still, I like to talk to the girl I get a dance from, so I stay away from girls with poor English skills. This is a disadvantage for me, I know, but I just don't enjoy myself otherwise. So, if a girl comes up, and we can't talk, I just shake my head 'no'.

There is a $10 entry fee and another fee for getting a VIP dance. Not sure about drink prices; I usually just order a Corona, pay $10, and don't look for change.
