Backroom Extras, Nice Experience

There has historically been no better value in lap dances and extras than Outer Space Club/La Pearl, though I've been seeing more negative reviews lately. I went to an afternoon Phillies game this week, and thanks to the pitch clock, got out of there at a reasonable time, so was able to visit OSC/La Pearl on my way home to check out the scene for myself.

This club is located in West Philly in a not-great (but not awful) area. I only visit during daylight saving time so it's daylight when I leave. Parking is often a challenge, but I'm often lucky - this time, I parked on Pearl Street on the opposite side of the club, and a resident asked me not to leave my car where it was because I was blocking the driveway (but I wasn't blocking the driveway). A loitering local helpfully suggested I park at the very end of the street, down a few feet, which worked fine for me.

On nicer days, the owner sits with his buddy outside the front door and takes your $10 cover. He is a nice guy and remembers you even if you haven't been there in a while. I usually get there closer to opening time, and the club is barely starting up at 5:00, so arriving around 6:45 was perfect. There were women everywhere and several of the seats at the La Pearl bar (lower level) were occupied. Every dancer I saw was a woman of color, varying body types, but most were on the slimmer side. The last four seats on the left side of the bar were occupied by PLs and dancers doing their thing (anything goes in those last seats) and another PL had a dancer's attention at a high top table across from that end of the bar at La Pearl. I decided to head upstairs.
