Well the renovations definitely happened.

After a quick clear the pipes visit to Diamond Dolls was accomplished, I decided to bounce over to The Booby Trap as I had fond memories of the place from years before.

I pulled into the parking lot which is well lit, fenced off and has an extension from when I was there last and is therefore VERY roomy. I went and paid the parking attendant the $2 fee and then went inside. The bouncer met me at the door, wanded me down and then sent me to the girl at the front to pay the $10 cover.

Once you turn left you look at a downstairs area that has a bar to your right, a long stage in the middle with two poles and another bar at the end. Tables and chairs in front of a row of booths, flank the stage. There is an upstairs area but it was not open.
