Still fun, but more expensive than before and the House Guy is taking over everything
Apparently I'm the only member here who goes to Cabo and visits these establishments, since my review of this place was the last one listed. Anyway, reviewing now because of the change in policies. We went Sunday and Tuesday night in mid-October.
First off, this place is still very nearby Cabo Wabo and in a well-lit tourist area. There is always a guy standing on the street trying to convince you to go up and he escorts you there. My opinion in any foreign country is that you rely on these guys and tip them and it always works out better. Try and cut out a guy who makes his living on commission and tips, and you're not only kind of a dick but also not going to get any support if you need it later. So we found the guy and told him we'd check it out. Tipped him $2-3 to walk us over.
Then get escorted in with no cover charge. Tip the guy who seats you the same. Beers were $6 each and got accurate change every time without any concern. There is a bathroom attendant occasionally.
Here's where things are a little different than last time. Previously, girls would just come up and offer dances. Now, it seems to be far more of a situation where you talk to the house boss guy/manager and tell him what you want and he brings her over. Basically no one came over without him telling them to. That's all fine and dandy, except he also appears to run the back room situation. He made it clear that if you want anything extra, you have to let him know. So that would lead me to believe they're taking an even bigger cut from the girls. In the past, the girls would try and upsell you in the room to some degree you'd hand her the money directly.
Still, pretty high quality of girls. No one below a 6, and 2 girls were smoking hot 9s, I would say. They both gave great dances in a small room with a couch and a door that locks. English was okay - enough to communicate, not enough to have to listen about them going to nursing school or hear about their cute kids.
Honestly, though, the change in policy with everything going through the house guy makes me think we should try somewhere next time instead. Less overhead and more money going to the girls. Still, can't complain about Cabo strip clubs - safe, very hot girls, and insanely high mileage for a good price if you are so inclined. Oh yeah -- it was $110 for 15 minutes this time. It was $100 for 15 minutes last time. So I think he's kicking up the prices to get himself a larger cut as well. He also told us that $800 would get you 2 hours OTC with any girl. Seems pretty steep -- that's what Lord Black's quoted and we thought it was crazy expensive there. So it seems like this place is really trying to increase its profit margins on everything. So I'd recommend checking out a different club next time probably.
