Mediocre Queens club. Spanish speaking preferred

Mermaids is in a residential neighborhood a block away from the train station so it’s easy to get too. Usually opens between 10-11pm. Got there at 11pm and paid a $20 cover. Liked the fact that unlike all the other Queens clubs, they didn’t scan my ID. There was no one in there except the bartenders and 4 dancers. One stage in the middle of a rectangular bar. Beers are $12.

This place tries to imitate Starlets but the music is way different. Much more pop oriented. Also of the 4 dancers, only one spoke English well. They were all Hispanic from South America. One was very petite and the others had big asses. I got dances at the bar from all of them, throwing singles. They were all grind heavy and a couple were very blatant about rubbing me over the pants in full view of everyone. They also grabbed my hands and put them on their chests and bikini area. But YMMV. I felt a little self conscious though because there’s security just sitting right behind your seats and can see everything that happens, but they didn’t care about the touching and the girls made it seem like that was the norm. A couple asked me to visit VIP in broken English but since it would have been hard to get more info from them, I declined. Spent about $200 in all with most of it on dances and stayed about 2 hours. Left around 1am and it was still pretty empty. The talent here though is not high, mostly 5-7s, but the mileage is pretty good.
