Not what I expected!!

When I walked in on a Friday evening at 9 PM, I was charged $5. The guy at the front gave me a blue ticket/coupon. I asked him if it was a free drink coupon and rather than providing an answer to my question, he just responded "just give this to the waitress and she'll help you". I sat at one of the tables and a waitress stopped by. I said I wasn't ready to get a drink yet but will do so later. She then says that there is a one drink minimum at the club. Based on reading the reviews on this forum for this club, I did not see anyone post that there was a one drink minimum. So, I was a bit surprised. I then pulled out the blue coupon and told the lady that I had this. She goes "this is not a coupon.". I said I will get a bottle of water and she charged me $8. I gave her $9.

I have been to upscale clubs (Spearmint Rhino, Sapphire – Las Vegas, etc.), mid-tier clubs (Synn – Los Angeles, Baby Dolls – Dallas, etc.) and low tier clubs (Chicas Caberet – Phoenix, Chicas Bonitas – Las Vegas, Paradise Saloon – Lawrence, KS, etc.). I would certainly classify Bogart's to fall into the low tier category.

I've had a great time at places like Chicas Bonitas, Paradise Saloon & Chicas Caberet. These are run down places with the structure barely standing upright. The girls at these places have made it fun and makeup for the place being completely run down. However, Bogart's wasn't that. The girls here were seemed very tired, a bit on the older side and a bit on the flabby side.
