It's not for everyone
After closing time at the Flamingo, I decided to ride over to the Outhouse to see a dancer I knew from a different club a few years ago. I'd never been to this establishment before, I just knew it had a reputation as a bit of a wild spot and it's BYOB.
I got there right around 2:00 AM. The music from inside was loud even in the parking lot. Cover was $20, which I thought was really steep. A wristband is given when you pay your cover, and then I stepped inside and was met with a pretty small place that was way overcrowded. I'm certain there was a building/fire code being broken because it was packed with people sitting haphazardly at tables and chairs that were scattered everywhere. People kept coming in after I got there and few were leaving, so the situation got worse from there. It's the first time I've genuinely been concerned for my safety in a strip club.
It's deafening inside. You have to scream just for anyone to hear you. There's a desk area near the front door where you can get $10 VIP wristbands and water if you want some. Right next to that is the tiniest VIP area I've ever seen - a waist-high wall separates it from the rest of the room, and it's maybe 12 feet by 12 feet with couches circling the inner wall, so there's zero privacy and you're mostly just trying to give yourself enough room. A small stage sits right next to it, then tons of chairs and a few tables, and the main stage on the far end. The ceiling is very low.
