Not so Good ol Scarlett’s
Good ol Scarlett’s. Sadly, the only strip club in Sioux Falls. It needs some competition, and for damn good reason.
This club is in a strip mall over by I29 north and 41st. You have to take a back way to get there nowadays. When you walk in, you go through a hallway to be greeted by the bouncer who takes your cover, $5 this night. Then, the space opens up. Bar to the front left with an ATM nearby. Stage to the right with seating all around. Some bar high chairs to the back left near the video lottery games, and pool and darts to the far left. By the pool and darts is the VIP rooms. There is also couches for non-vip dances to the far back of the room. Pretty decent sized club overall for South Dakota. The board says a minimum of $20 per song for normal dances, no more than 3, with a $5 couch rental. And vip is $100 with a $25 room rental for 15 minutes.
My fiancée and I walked in and got our drinks, a carbliss for her and a miller light for me, $11. They do charge a $15 minimum on cards, so we charged the cover to our card, as they had us pay it at the bar. We arrived about 9p and there were no girls on stage. It wasn’t til about 9:30p that anyone went up. We then chose to get some ones and move up to the stage. We stayed up for the whole array of dancers, throwing atleast a couple of ones for each song. Each girl dances three songs on stage. Big warning here, this is a pasty only club. So not too much to look at.
The girls ranged from downright 4s to 7/8s. Mostly in the 6-7 range. There were about 8 girls working, and we were the only ones at the stage. This was good for us, as a little money got us a lot of attention and time. After seeing each girl once, and spending about $45-$50 dollars up at the stage, we moved to a table and waited to see if anyone would approach us. Sure enough, a skinny blonde girl with lots of tattoos came to talk to us. Eventually she brought up a couples dance, but was asking for $40 a person! We said no and went and asked our favorite dancer and she quoted us the minimum $25 each, which we gladly accepted.
She took a lot of time touching my fiancée and teasing her, while the only action I really got was boobs in my face twice. And it is one way contact. Fun to watch, but not what I was hoping for. We left after that and were overall somewhat disappointed in the experience, but I should have known better. It is Scarlett’s after all.
