This place use to be a good deal. Is it still?

My wife and I went to Palomino twice in the last 6 weeks. I'll start with the most recent visit last Saturday night. It lasted all of about 15 seconds.

We drove ourselves and went in to pay. Bouncer said the cover tonight was $66. I said that's total, right? And he said no that's per person. I honestly got the feeling he was just making that shit up cause we were there 6 weeks prior and I think it was $30 each. So I told him $66 was crazy and I turned around and walked out. Then a guy who was just about to go in asked me why we was leaving so quick and I said cause it was $66 cover. He said screw that and him and his 8 other friends also left. Honestly that made me so happy. Screw these places and their BS covers. Also I've called them probably the 4 or 5 times prior to confirm the cover was going to be the same for me regardless if I had them pick me up or I drove myself. They always said its the same either way. This was the only time I didn't do that. Maybe it would have been cheaper if I had them pick me up?

Side note - Hustler club tried to charge me $100/person a few months ago. I already had tix I had bought online to see a burlesque show that was there which were $25/person. So I didnt have to pay that BS cover.
