Good Karma

I was recently in Toms River on business and decided to see what’s available at the local strip club: Delilah’s Den. As another reviewer noted, the next closest club up the Jersey Shore is Centerfolds in Neptune. Or drive south to AC. So this really is the only local option. Being an incompetent TUSCL user, I did all my research on a club by the same name in Manville. Nonetheless, I would rate this first visit a success.

Unlike the it’s namesake further north, Delilah’s in TJ has plenty of parking and a discreet entrance in the rear. Just a few doors down (past a church) you will find a large WaWa. If you need cash go there. The machine in the club charges a $10 fee and limits you to $100 per transaction. At WaWa you get a couple of PNC machines that advertise no fees. They also sell a cheesecake crème soda smoothie with whipped cream and condoms. In case you need those too.

Anyway, I enter the club around 11PM on a Saturday, pay $30 (not $25) to the bouncer, and let my eyes adjust to the light. It’s a basic setup with on single long stage (2 poles) connected to an intended bar that serves as a good place to sit and wait for your favorite dancer to exit the girls’ lounge in the back to the left. There are the usual chairs around the stage and then more behind these if you don’t care to tip. LD and VIP are tucked behind a wall on the right (past a bouncer). The LD is on a long cushioned bench. So private from the club but public to other LD customers. I’m not shy and neither was my dancer so not a problem. I counted 3 VIP rooms behind curtains. No cameras. Never saw a bouncer check in on them.
