Woof. I've been to Chicas many times, but only before the pandemic. This was my first time back since then. I have to say, it was not nearly as fun as I remembered. Granted, I was there mid-afternoon, but that's always when I used to attend before. The place is about the same - dark and smoky. But the dancers were... not good. HUGE, probably mostly fake, asses, with lots of cellulite and many of them seemed to have difficulty even walking around comfortably. Large bellies to match, and busted faces. I'm sorry, I'm just being honest. I was actively turned off and even felt depressed - and it's not that I dislike Latinas; quite the contrary. I do realize that not everyone likes athletic and cute dancers. But still - this was something else. I spent about 30 minutes watching a baseball game on TV, hoping the attractive girls were maybe in the back, giving dances, and would come out eventually, but none did. I don't know if I can go back here, sadly.
