A first visit to Kandy's

I was in the area (well sort of, this place is really out in the middle of nowhere unless you happen to be at Edinboro University or Erie, PA) and had an evening to myself so I thought I'd check it out based on the various reviews on TUSCL. I had about a 90 minute drive to get there and GPS was very helpful in finding the place. The building is large and the parking is as well. The lot is free and it is well lit. The evening that I arrived (at about 9:45 pm) there were maybe 12 cars in the lot. There is a beer store next door (uses the same parking lot) as the club itself is BYOB.

The greeter/bartender took my $10 cover charge. The bar sellers a variety of non-alcoholic drinks (bottled water, red bull, gatorade, iced tea, etc) but there did not seem to be a drink minimum and I was never hassled to buy anything. I did get some ones for tipping. They also put a “smile face” sticker on you if this is your first time (as it was mine). This signals one of the girls (“Kandy’s Kittens”) to take you on a tour.

The main room is very larger with the bar on the right side, a spacious circular stage in the center of the room with chairs surrounding it. This stage has three poles and a metal hoop swing hanging from the ceiling. There is a “VIP” lounge in the front left with a small stage with a pole and a door which closes that area off from the rest of the main room. It is like having your own little mini strip club (I would guess that bachelor parties might utilize that). The bathrooms are to the back right of the main room and to the back left, the main room exits into the lap dance and VIP private dance areas. There is a communal lap dance area with 8 cubicles that are separated partitions, there are private dance rooms with a single couch/loveseat type of set-up, there are bedrooms where bed dances are performed (I wasn’t able to see them but apparently they are themed), there is actually an old automobile in which you can received your lap dance (presumably in the back seat) and a shower show area. With all of these many options, there are also many different prices. Because there are so many, there is a printed price list available but I didn’t take one. The time/price I recall tended to run about $100 for 30 minutes and increments upwards similar to that (I suspect that is the house fee before tips).
