Don't go looking for white dancers here.
The plan was to meet up with my TUSCL buddies Bubba267 and Eastcoaster on Friday, April14 about 1PM. The plan worked. We like to go early and leave before the place gets really crowded. So I pulled into an almost empty parking lot around 12:45PM. I got my usual VIP treatment from Deon, the door man. Upfront parking, no pat down and no door fee (normally $10).
I went inside and headed down stairs. On Fridays they open the upstairs bar at 3PM. Downstairs was still very quiet. Only a handful of dances and customers. Went to the bar to get my coke that Jen already had waiting for me. I found out that Bubba was already there and in VIP.
I moved over to my favorite booth with one of my favorite dancers. Nobody seems to like this booth seating but it is not likely to change because it is liked after 8PM when the clubs turns more like a black night club with strippers. The stage has been moved back a few feet to make it safer if a dancer should fall. A pole is still in the works. Most people also don't like the huge TV screens. They produce too much light. But most of the dancers are discreet and manage to be quite handsy. and likewise is tolerated. The few reports of managers warning dancers and customers to cool it come mostly from Marco. He is the general manager for the 5 mostly black clubs that the old white woman owns in Atlanta.
