Daytime weekday visit. It was fine. I'll be back to give it a 2nd shot.

Visited on a Thursday afternoon at about 2pm. Cover was $5.

While I think I've been to every other club in San Antonio, I've never been to Sugar's - largely because my wife is under the impression that this is where men go for 'extras'. I don't know where that impression comes from.

I really don't like the layout here. The main stage is immediately in front of the entrance which ultimately leads the girls to be dancing to a walkway. At the main stage you're either at a "reserved" table, standing at the bar, or sitting at the stage. There are additional stages towards the back of the building and another bar. I wasn't there long enough to explore more deeply - perhaps the layout would have grown on me.
