R. L. In the early evening

I had dinner at Goombays and passed RL on the way home. Had to stop. It was about 8 and thought Why Not?

It was past the time cover starts (7:00) but, no one was at the door so, in I went. 2 or 3 guys at the bar, 4 or 5 ladies in the stripper uniform and the wench behind the bar, of course. I had to pee bad, as I walked in and asked where's restroom. One gal greeted me enthusiasticaly. The rest had their noses in their phones. I came out, sat at the bar. No one on stage, no one anywhere but the bar.

The sweetie that greeted me first came to join me and I bought her a Red Bull and me a club soda. A few minutes of chit chat "Where you from?" Etc and she asked if I wanted 1 dance. Well, yeah. She's late 30's or mid 40's, well kept.
