This Club is often just an “eh.”

Visited early evening on a Monday. Risqué is located on the corner of Veterans Highway and Ford Road. Limited parking in front of the building, facing Veterans Hwy, some spots along the entrance side but plenty in the back of the building (most discreet location). The easiest way to get to the back parking area is from Ford Road.

The dancers come down from the upstairs dressing area by coming down a spiral staircase. They do their first of two dances on the front stage. For the second dance they move over to the backstage where the pole is . After their set, they circle on the inside of the bar collecting tips. That’s when I usually strike asking a dancer to come back for a dance. If I don’t act then, they either disappear back upstairs or hang out with their regulars. Unless you're a regular, you have to make the first move. The dancers here seem less interested in making money than any other club around. They just don’t seem motivated.

In past years, we could count on regulars like Chanel, Katie (aka Aria, who only sees her regulars), Nicolette and Maryjane to be around and active. Now, the girls just don’t seem interested. I’m surprised that management does not push them to do more dances. Dances = money for the club and the girl.
