No frills Tuesday night

I stopped by the Silver Criket late on Tuesday night a bit before closing. I parked in the rear lot, which had ample space and was far from capacity. The area behind the club off of Michigan Ave has a slightly seedy vibe at night, but I felt safe in the parking lot itself while making the short walk into the club.

There was a $10 cover collected by a younger, heavy-set white guy. No patdown or ID scan.

The club is about average in size. There is one main room featuring a center stage surrounded by small tables, with a bar running along the east wall of the club, booths on the south and west walls, and a private dance area on the north side.
