If you haven't been in a while, give it a shot

This is a composite review of about four visits over the last couple of months. Before these visits, it had been over a year and a half since I last stopped in.

All of my visits were in the afternoon or early evening. There was never a parking fee, but on my last visit I got there at about 7 PM and, when I left shortly after 8 there was a sign saying “$40 VIP Parking, $20 Regular Parking.” The cover charge was $10 each time I visited, except one day when I got there on a Saturday at about 5:30, I was charged $20. When I inquired, I was told the cover charge goes up to $20 after 5 PM on weekends. A well brand mixed drink at the bar was $8.

The club still looks like a run down dive on the outside, but there had been more remodeling since my last visit. It now looks pretty nice on the inside. The ratty looking, cigarette burned tables have been replaced, and super large TV screens have been installed on the right wall. This makes it difficult to sit in the booths on that side because your head bumps against the TV, especially if you are leaning back while being “entertained.” It’s better to sit on the opposite side, or in the back.
