chill afternoon at chicas

first time visiting chicas, based on the reviews it seems like the best option in vegas, and it did not disappoint.

i went early in the afternoon for a few hours solo, killing some time. i would say that the place isn't as shitty as some of the reviews imply. it is most certainly a dive, but it feels like a regular, local dive bar. location is not that sketchy. felt totally comfortable as a gringo. $5 cover. bathroom is shitty, but not remarkably so. main bar straight ahead as you walk in, main stage to the right.

not that many women working when i was there, several occupied by abuelitos having a great time. i posted up at the bar, drank some modelos, talked to a few of the girls and patrons. it was a very friendly place, and the drinks are cheap by vegas standards. every once in a while someone will dance on the main stage, which is largely ignored by the rest of the room.
