Possibly the end of an Era

I was in the neighborhood after an appointment I had earlier in the day. Hadn’t been here in a while but I used to be here a lot when I worked in the area.

Turning off Van Houten had to swerve to avoid the large potholes as you turn. It’s a pale yellow building with ample parking in the rear of the place. I noticed a banner that said “We’re Moving “. As usual it’s so dark as you enter the building it takes a while for your eyes to adjust. The bathroom is right in front of you as soon as entering the bar. To the right is a dark glass door and the bar is to the left. The bar had a decent amount of patrons in it more than I remembered. Walked halfway around the bar and took an available seat, the bartender walked over with my usual drink without having to ask. That’s a good sign for a bartender. Drinks were 6-8 and Patron was 14. A little pricey IMO.

While I’m sitting there watching the young dancers go on and off the stage, all of them in their 20’s. This one in particular is just staring at me and I guess I was staring back. When she got off stage she came over and started to have a conversation with me. She told me her name but I didn’t hear it well enough to remember. She told me that she’s only been here for a couple weeks, her English was only okay she started rubbing my back and neck. Find out that she was Dominican, we kinda talked for a while and she asked if I wanted a dance I gladly accepted. We head to the overly lighted lap dance room and we both having fun together with our hands all over each other. Danes are 20 bucks per song I’m not sure what happened to Jr, but he did want to play I don’t know why. After the dances I head back to my seat and I see a knockout on stage but I realized that I didn’t have time to stay and talk with this knockout.

I don’t know when I’ll be able to get back there though I will try to get back there soon before they move to the new location.
