Although an older Club, Stilettos has definitely impressed

Was visiting RGV for a work event so decided to give Stilettos a shot on a Wednesday night. Showed up around 10pm and the small parking lot was pretty full but was able to get a parking spot in the back. Area looked a little shady in the parking lot but once I got in (no wait and a $10 cover) I was fairly impressed with the layout. Bar area seems renovated and looked new with a large projector screen in the main area that was showing ESPN.

Had a few drinks at the bar while watching the stage and basketball game. Drinks were fairly priced ($9 for gin&tonics, not sure what the beer price was). While sitting at the bar I was approached a few times for private dances and one dancer who wanted to take a shot but I declined as I wanted to scope out the scene more. Noticed a pair of girls with a table with one girl I was eyeing (nice natural set on her) so kept making eye contact to see if she would come over but never did. Ended up taking a thick Cuban girl for a private dance in the meanwhile. Their private dance area is in the corner with multiple lounge chairs in a sunken area of the club with mirrors on the back wall. Wasn't a huge fan of the music choices because as soon as we went to the private dance area they started playing heavy metal rock which isn't the best music to get a dance to in my opinion.

Ended up getting two dances since they switched the music back to hip-hop reggaeton and went back to the bar ($20 per song dances). When I got back to the bar, one of the girls I was eyeing was on stage so I ended up going up to the stage to tip and made some small talk with her. She asked where I was sitting and asked me to get her a beer and that she would come see me. She finishes her set and moves to the pole area by the bar right after her set (after speaking with her later on, she mentioned that it's mandatory for them to move to the secondary small pole by the bar after their main stage set).
