Sad Return to an Old Favorite...

Stopped by to meet a couple friends on a late Saturday afternoon around 4:30ish back in December. Used to come here often prior to the pandemic, and boy have things gone downhill. Walked in through the curtains and you have the bar ahead just to the left, 2 person tables/chairs, and booths along the wall. I have a seat to the right side of the room where the bigger tables are since I'm meeting friends. Taking a look around they upgraded their decor a bit... new chairs, floor/carpet a little nicer or cleaner, and also a little brighter. In general, just not as rundown as before. That's the good news...

So we ordered some beers ($5 Happy Hour till 7) and tried to peep the lineup as girls walked by or approached for tips (some girls just plop down next to you and expect to be tipped just for asking if we want a dance). Personally, I don't tip just for that, especially if I didn't invite the dancer over to sit, but to each their own. That's red flag #1... There were only 6-8 girls working at the time and it was slim pickings. Not one dancer caught my eye, I'd say maybe one dancer rated a 6/7. Granted looks aren't everything as mileage can help make up for a lot, but we saw a couple girls take customers to the lap dance room and not one customer stayed back there for more than a song. On top of that, lap dances went up to $25 from $20. That was red flag #2... But the straw that broke the camel's back and had us headed out the door after about an hour and a few rounds, was the owner/manager sitting IN the lap dance room while customers were getting dances. Maybe times have changed, but I can't roll with that. It's no wonder why customers didn't stay back there for more than a dance. Needless to say, I probably won't be making any visits here anytime soon.
