Mixed feelings.

First time here. I showed up about 4:30 after a short stint at Gatsby's. The parking lot is narrow. I backed into a spot on the far side so I was facing the building. I'm not much for dive bars but I figured I'd give it a shot. As I walked around the ripped tarp they have draped around the entrance I nearly bumped into an older woman who was headed in just ahead of me. She would register about a 1, maybe 2 if I was being generous, and I thought if this is it then I'm out! I nearly turned around and left but I continued in, mainly out of curiosity.

What can I say, it's rough in there. The bar is along the far wall and I made my way all the way down to the end and sat in a wobbly bar stool. Sitting on the end, I was facing the opposite wall which has a mirror along most of it so I could see what was going on.

There were 4 girls working and about 6 guys. One tall, skinny AA girl, I'd say a 4-5, came over asking me for a dollar for the jukebox. I donated to the cause and she put on some Kid Rock. The other girls were white and not too bad except the girl who nearly scared me off before I ever set foot in the place. I got a water and waited. Pretty soon one of the better looking white girls comes walking around the end of the bar and seemed a little surprised when she saw me. She told me to give her a minute and she'd be right back. Upon her return I found out it was Rachel. Not a bad looker and musta been hopped up on some espresso shots cause she was talking 90 miles an hour. Told me she doesn't do bar side dances because of inflation and then told me all about her hopes and dreams for the future. Eventually we went to the mop closet for about 4 songs worth of fun. Total damage was $180. I left very happy. I'd probably go back if I'm ever in the area again.
