On Friday, April 24, 2023 at 2:15 PM, Center Stage was closed. They had been normally opening at 2:00 PM post pandemic. There were only a handful of cars in the parking lot. Nobody but me seemed to be waiting for it to open. This may be related to the Mardi Gras in Springfield MA being under new ownership, and closing until further notice as of April 8, 2023. I contacted a dancer and she confirmed that Center Stage is closed until further notice. Possibly Center Stage was also sold, though I have not been able to find a news report to confirm this.
