For better or worse..

Was convinced by my friend to watch the second half of UConn v Miami final four game here and it was an okay time. Stayed about 2 hours or so but did not catch much of the game. I haven't been in HBs for a few months and the last couple of times in late 2022 didn't really warrant reviews since I did not just want to complain about this place.

There have been some changes here post Covid, the first being the metal detector at the door which I find less than welcoming. The layout is pretty much the same as before aside from the lapdance room downstairs no longer existing. Miller Lites are still going for $1.50 which is nice but my friend was served bottles of Fiji water when he ordered water which were $10.. insane. Understaffed with cocktail waitresses, I think there was only one working so drinks came slowly. The cleanliness of the bathroom has seemed to suffer here as well.

The quality of the dancers seems to have improved since my last visits which was good to see I suppose. Wide variety to choose form and a few standouts for sure. Went upstairs for with one dancer. The prices you get quoted can vary widely. I was told 3 for $60 by several girls and 5 for $60 by others, with other pricing for different songs/times. I paid $100 for 15 minutes which I was okay with but the catch is the bar upstairs where they add on a $10+ tax for dancer drinks which does not appear to be optional, leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Dances were pretty solid for here and the contact level has increased since pre-Covid but milage may vary of course and nothing too crazy is going to happen here. Overall, I was not dissatisfied with my time upstairs but for the money it was not really something I am willing to repeat anytime soon.

The vibe has certainly shifted at this spot. It was always fun to me to come here since it was not really expensive but now it just seems like way too much money spent for what you get back in experience. Could be way worse but could be way better.
