Girlfriend experience
After a quick stop at Bogies, I stopped by on a Saturday evening a couple weeks ago around 7:30pm in hopes of seeing a dancer there I saw a few months ago.
Parking lot was semi-full indicating a fairly busy night. I walked in and paid my cover ($5). Club has been described ad nauseum but I'll please those who demand to see the same info on each review. Walk in on the south side of the club in the south west corner of the building through a small vestibule and meet the doorman who takes your $5 and gives you a ticket. Once in, the entire building is to your right. Once you turn to your right, there is a small high stage on immediately to your left with bar seating around. Just past that on your left starts the bar that runs about half the length of the room. The bar is somewhat "L" shaped and at that corner there is another small stage -though no seating around that stage. To the right is some bench seating and another area separated by a small wall with some bar height seating where you sit and look though an opening. The Bar continues on your left and the room opens up to a larger stage with chair seating all around. This stage is in about the middle of the room with table and bench seating to the right, bar seating to the left and a wall on the other side where the bathrooms are. The DJ booth is in south east corner of the building with the VIP area tucked in behind. I found a table seat near in between the large stage and the south wall -where I usually sit. This allows viewing of all three stages.
When I arrived, there were about 20 customers and probably around 10 dancers. Once I was at my seat, my server arrived and I ordered a diet coke ($7) -I gave the server a $10 and had her keep the change. My M.O. is to sit and chill to see who is there and who may arrive. I've been to Bogies and Hank's 4-5 times in the past year. Pretty much every one of those times I have visited both clubs on the same evening and I have found that Hanks consistently has dancers who are younger and in a bit better shape than Bogies. Not that Bogies can't have a diamond in the rough and they had some lookers tonight, but Hanks seemed to have more dancers as well as having more dancers that shape I prefer. I'd say that of the dozen or so dancers, all were in their 20s except maybe one who was probably early 40s and all dancers were height:weight propertional for the most part. There were 4 A.A. dancers and the rest of the dancers were white. I tend toward a preference for the A.A. dancers. I'd also add that all dancers were attractive.
